Cara Mazure, from the Children’s Advocacy Center (Holland), will be presenting “Five Steps to Protect Children,” for Adult Education after the morning worship service.  All adults 18 and older are encouraged to attend this valuable training about what can be done to prevent child abuse and how to respond when it does occur.

If you are a current volunteer or staff that interacts with children and/or vulnerable adults, your presence is required at this training.  If you anticipate starting to work in that capacity, your presence is required at this training.  Once you have registered for the presentation, you will be sent an electronic version of the Safe Church Policy of Second Church, as well as a copy of the Volunteer Profile.  You will need to complete the Volunteer Profile and return it to anyone on the Safe Church Team or the leader of your program.
